Rheingau Founders is hiring for one of their new portfolio companies that is currently in the growth phase. 
Rheingau Founders is a professional Co-Founder for digital business located in Berlin, Germany. The team around the founding partners Dr. Tobias Johann, Philipp Hartmann and Kai Hansen support their portfolio founders with their extensive knowledge of building and scaling Online and Mobile businesses. Till date, Rheingau portfolio firms have raised more than EUR 130m in follow-on funding, creating more than 500 jobs in the Berlin ecosystem. Most recent highlights from the Rheingau Portfolio include itembase (e-commerce enabling platform), simplesurance (cross & upselling tool for insurances), medlanes (e-health solution) and Service Partner ONE (B2B office management tool).


      • You are responsible for all sales activities including the setting and controlling of sales targets
      • You lead and expand the B2B sales team of currently +15 employees
      • You increase the performance of the team through your leadership style, employee development and the optimization of sales processes and sales materials
      • You initiate and conduct negotiations with large corporations and health insurance companies
      • You use innovative sales techniques to introduce the business partners to the product
      • You support marketing activities and initiate sales champagnes
      • You monitor sales performance and the sales pipeline to establish KPIs and make predictions
      • You represent the company at trade fairs and other events
      • You work closely with the management team and report directly to them


      • Long-term experience in B2B sales (preferably 4 to 6 years), ideally in the start-up sector and with key-account experience
      • Successfully completed studies in economics or business (ideally a master's degree) with a major in marketing / sales
      • Social business media (LinkedIn, Xing etc.) is your bread and butter
      • You are a personality with excellent communication skills and a high passion for sales and closing deals
      • Experience in leadership experience and in brand building
      • Hands-on mentality and strength in implementing projects. Tackling on all levels is self-evident for you
      • Digital products and the Internet fire your enthusiasm and belong to your everyday life
      • Endurance, flexibility and high resilience
      • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
      • Ideally, knowledge of salesforce or similar CRM tools
